The Computer Lab Goes State-of-the-Art

The Computer Lab Goes State-of-the-Art

Thirty new HP computers, modern and completely updated, can now be found in the NUIA computer lab. This refurbishment was particularly welcomed as many of our students are taking Florida Virtual School (FLVS) classes, as well as Advanced Placement (AP) classes. These computers will now facilitate their learning and be an asset in completing their online labs and exam preparations. Under the supervision of Br. Ahmed Hane, students who are scheduled to use the computer lab can now use the new machines to edit and create documents, and have faster access to the Internet. Additionally, the new computers are touch screen, have built-in cameras and employ the latest operating system.

Students are welcomed to use the computer labs as needed under Br. Ahmed’s supervision, so long as they remember the rules: no food or drinks, push all chairs in, and clean-up after themselves.
